Welcome to Sort Keep Toss! I’m Melinda.

Organizing has always been my happy place. What started as a few simple tricks to make everyday life run more smoothly turned into a full-blown love affair with clever storage hacks and systems that actually make life easier.

Over the years, my husband and I relocated around the country for our careers, calling all kinds of places home including a 350-square-foot studio apartment in NYC that we somehow managed to share for eight years! Living small taught me big lessons about how to make space work for you, not against you.

Somewhere along the way, I realized organizing wasn’t just helping me manage my own space, it was showing up everywhere. At home, it made daily life smoother (and way less chaotic). At work, it helped me stay focused and efficient. With family, it meant less stress and more time for what actually matters. And during all our cross-country moves and frequent travel, those same systems kept things running without the usual overwhelm. I started to see how a few thoughtful habits could make everything feel a little easier, and that maybe, just maybe, I could help others feel that way too.

So here I am! Part organizer, part space therapist, part cheerleader, ready to help you turn chaos into calm, one drawer at a time.
